Atlassian Wins Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Award with 357% Growth
Leading software company wins award for the third consecutive year
San Francisco, CA (Business Wire) December 4, 2007 — Atlassian, the developer of Confluence, the world’s most popular enterprise wiki, today announced that it has been ranked #20 by Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 for Australia. The Fast 50 ranks the fifty fastest growing technology companies, public or private, based on percentage revenue growth over three years (2005-2007) and includes all related industry sectors: communications; software; semiconductors, components and electronics. Atlassian achieved a staggering 357% growth in revenue over this period.
Atlassian co-founder and CEO, Mike Cannon-Brookes, credits the company’s third consecutive award to successful word of mouth, transparency and a customer-centric focus. “We’ve been able to keep up this kind of growth because we haven’t made any compromises to our core values and value proposition. We still develop great software that is affordably priced and easy to install and use. This award is another welcome validation of all our hard work.”
Today, Atlassian has over 9,000 customers in more than 95 countries, an increase since last year’s Fast 50 Award of over 4,000 customers and over 35 countries.
“Managing growth is challenging for many organizations, but Atlassian has achieved exceptional growth during a downturn in the technology sector,” noted Julia Bickerstaff, Deloitte Technology, Media and Telecommunications partner. “With the global tech sector showing more prosperous signs than the last three years, the future is looking even brighter for Atlassian,” she added.
