bepartofsummit.jpgAtlassian Summit is just north of 30 days away. There are dozens of discussions in this 2-day event. As we run up to the event, we wanted to highlight some of the speakers.
This interview is with Yuval Oren of Attributor. He will be speaking in our lightning talks about Attributor’s use of Clover.
What’s your title and role within the organization?
Principal Engineer. Multiple roles (we’re a startup), including database/analytics team manager and automated testing evangelist.
What product(s) will you be presenting at Summit?
Clover case study.
How is your team using these tool(s)?
We use Clover regularly to monitor our progress in expanding our automated test coverage. We have a “legacy” environment with a lot of code not covered by automated tests. We’ve extended Clover to work better for us in such an environment.
Please give us a short preview of your presentation.
Increasing automated test coverage in legacy code: it’s easy if you’re starting from scratch, not so much if you’re in a jungle of 6 month old code. Focusing and measuring efforts are key, and we apply principles of the San Francisco Department of Building Inspection to help us do so.
What do you hope to get out of Summit yourself?
Learn about other Atlassian and other industry products, and do some networking.
Join us at Atlassian Summit 31 May to 2 June, 2009 in San Francisco. Meet other customers, our brilliant sponsors and partners, and Atlassian staff for more than 2 days of case studies, code, and performance tips on the products you use.
