Atlassian is looking for 32 engineers in Sydney to help us build kick arse tools
Why should you apply? Because life at Atlassian is pretty awesome! We’ve created a great culture of openness and honesty, with no bullshit and no bureaucracy. And you get to work with a bunch of great teammates. Little plug: today we have launched some initiatives to help us convince you, or help you convince your mates, to join us!
- Start fresh Initiative: The day that I was hired, I told Scott (our CEO) that I was ready to start asap. In response, Scott basically told me he would rather I “start fresh” by taking a couple of days off first. Since, I have always encouraged new hires to take at least a few days off before they their first day. To help out, we will give new hires a Wotif -voucher (up to $1k) to relax in a nice hotel!
- Refer a mate: Another thing we’ll do is pay a hefty AUD 2k bonus to anyone who refers an employee to Atlassian. If you’re reading this blog, I suppose you’d probably know some great people in our space. We are happy to make you happy if you make us happy!
- Atlassian Open House: We work in a beautiful historic building right in the city centre, in an open plan office and with an awesome staff area to play poker, eat lunch or play Wii games. We are well-equipped for cyclists with a bike storage and showers. To show off our HQ, we will organise an open house on 24 September for everyone interested in Atlassian.
