Branch reviews that update automatically

From now on, you don’t need to remember to add the latest changes on your branch to your review. Whenever a new commit is indexed, the review gets updated automatically to include it, and all participants are notified about new changes.

We’ve also improved the experience when working within a branch review.  You can delete unwanted files from the review and they won’t be added again on the next update unless there are any further changes. Adding content to a review can work up to 10 times faster.

Support for Git 2.2 and Mercurial 3.2

The new release updates our Git and Mercurial support to the latest released versions (Mercurial 3.2.4 and Git 2.2.2). Using Git version 2.2.1, we’ve observed some repositories being indexed up to 8% faster, when compared to 1.9.1.

These latest versions have fixes to prevent the recently discovered CVE-2014-9390 vulnerability. While Fisheye and Crucible aren’t directly affected by the issue, we recommend upgrading all your Git and Mercurial clients to the latest release.

Bug fixes and improvements

We stay committed to making the experience of using Fisheye and Crucible as hassle-free as possible. We’ve spent time in this release cycle to fix the issues that were reported most often to our support.
