Thanks to my post yesterday, I now know what the worst polling software is. Nothing quite like the smell of napalm in the morning... except when you realize you're the one being napalmed.
Lesson learned: Next time, I'll spend more than five minutes looking for polling software!
For my penance, I've spent the last 30 minutes generating new polls:

Update to this post: I just removed the MajikWidget poll because one of our developers noticed that in his RSS reader (Thunderbird), the MajikWidget poll had some type of pop-over effect that "adhered" itself to the top left window and couldn't be removed. Even restarting Thunderbird didn't help, the whole machine needed rebooting.

This is hilarious... but you know the napalm was not meant for you.. :-)

I posted a Blogpoll poll on two of my blogs and both worked OK - despite taking a few seconds to load - for a couple of days and then both blogs failed to load entirely, loading only back to the blogpoll post and not showing the actual poll, just the title of my post. The problem disappeared when I removed the posts back to draft from publish mode. Is there something wrong with their software or something?

It seems that Blogpoll does take a little while to load on a page, whereas these others load instantly. But the main issue that people had with it, I gather, is all the advertising. When you click to see the results, they are tucked away in between an obnoxious number of ads.

one problem with polldaddy - since the poll in generated as a flash file, most of the blogs cannot display it. it's the same with pollection, for instance.
i'm still looking for the best software for polls, unfortunately, i haven't found any :)
