Discounts at JavaOne and Web 2.0 Expo
Jon Silvers, Dir. of Marketing talks about confluenceMarch 19, 2008
Please stop by our booths at Web 2.0 Expo and JavaOne in April and May, respectively to get demos of our latest products (we are launching many updated products in the next 3 months).
One thing that's different about Atlassian is that we don't staff our booth with sales people. Most of our staff attending these events are our develolpers. We send developers because...
- You visit exhibit halls to learn about new products, not get pitched to death
- It's awesome for our developers to hear directly from customers and not have to hear proxy interpretations
- Our folks actually know what you're going through!
O'Reilly are offering incentives if you register now for Web 2.0 Expo. For an extra $100 off the price of admission to Web 2.0 Expo, use this special promotional code: websf08co38.
Similarly, for a $100 JavaOne discount, use the following code: ECXH55 on the registration page.

I am interested in knowing if Atlassian will be organizing/conducting any kind of BOF at the Web 2.0 Expo?

We are not planning any BOF at Web 2.0 Expo but we'd be happy to set up a time to meet with you. If you want, please contact me to let me know what you're looking for (to meet with other wiki users, Confluence users, technical members of Atlassian staff...?) and we can try to set something up. jon [at] atlassian [dot] com
