Mark has released a version of Textile for Java. Excellent! I use Textile daily as a MovableType plugin and it's an excellent text formatting engine. Writing usable HTML has never been this easy before! :)
Thanks for the nice plug... And quite good timing as the company I work for ordered a JIRA Pro license today ;)
Evaluated JIRA myself.... very early version...
Good Software
Cheap tooo....
But we chose something else as it was integrated with our UML/IDE tool, i think u guys can guess which one i'm talking about. One more hint if that wasn't clear enough, the company was just bought my IBM.
Anyway mike, any chance you will have a per user license instead of a per server license.
e.g. US $100 per user rather than $2000 per server...
I have integrated Textile4J into a snipsnap macro ... So in snipsnap you can do the following :{textile} some textile markup {textile} and get the textile rendered output..... Mike if you want a copy for the os wiki let me know.
Hi, either I'm a monkey or trackback for this article isn't working.
Anyway, JTextile is another (actually the first ;) ) Java implementation of Textile, which runs on JDKs under 1.4, making use of the gnu regexp lib.
