Spring 1.0 - the best quality Java framework
Spring 1.0 is out, possibly my favourite framework in the Java world at the moment.
I said it all in my mailing list post, so I'll just quote it here for those not on the list:
My heartiest congratulations to Rod, jürgen and all of the Spring developers on the 1.0 release. It is a truly world class framework, with stability and quality rarely seen in the Open Source enterprise Java space. In ~6 months of using Spring, I don't recall ever finding a serious flaw or bug, and certainly the minor ones were fixed extremely quickly.We're huge fans, and will continue to be for a long time I suspect!
I wish the project all the best for the future. Remember, 1.0 is a starting point - not a destination!
