Bravo Mr Arrington / 2007 Feb 14

I am in total agreement with Niki (and for those that know us - that can be rare!) that Mike's TechCrunch article on FilmLoop was right on the mark.

Niki lays out all the reasons it's a great piece of online journalism, eg:

Arrington takes a position and spells out why he believes in the position he has taken. Because of it, others weigh in to balance his viewpoint, creating a rich, friction-filled debate.

I'm all for more openness around areas like this. Backroom machinations make it hard for entrepreneurs to really understand what happens in these situations.

As said in the comment threads, I really doubt that any more detail will come to light here (it's not exactly in ComVentures' best interests) but if more stories like this come to light I think it can only be a good thing.

For anyone taking investment, it's a good cautionary tale to read and understand. If nothing else, it will make you look at your term sheet in a whole different way.
