For every every dollar up to $500,000 donated to Room to Read's Checkout Challenge, Atlassian will match it. That's right - Atlassian will turn half a million dollars in donations into a million. Atlassian's matching funds will specifically support the creation of school libraries and new books in Cambodia. We've been a proud supporter of Room to Read's projects in Asia since 2009, donating almost $2 million through sales of our $10 starter licenses and impacting the lives of over 80,000

Our usual tools are wikis, issue trackers and continuous integration servers... But today we wielded long-handled loppers, secateurs and saws. The last time we used a long-handled lopper, we saved the planet. This time, we're out to save Mars! Ten Atlassians went on a bush regeneration exercise with Conservation Volunteers Australia and the National Parks and Wildlife Service. We worked in the Mars Creek area of Macquarie Park, an area of valuable native vegetation and biodiversity. Our

It's a little known fact that Atlassians have green blood. You could cut one to see, but that's probably not a good idea. Especially if the Atlassian concerned is holding our weapon of choice, the long-handled lopper. A few days ago, a group of us went out to help Conservation Volunteers Australia save the planet. Our mission: To rid (a small part of) Lane Cove National Park of the noxious weed, privet. Privet, like many other non-native plants, simples loves Australia. It's taking over

$63,210, 100 Moustaches & an Oompa Loompa

A record 100 Atlassian's grew a moustache during the month of November to heighten awareness for men's health issues. Collectively they raised US $31,605 along the way in support of inspiring initiatives in Sydney, San Francisco, and Amsterdam. Thanks to matching from the Atlassian Foundation we'll be donating a grand total of US $63,210. Not bad for a little bit of facial hair, huh? WARNING: Moustaches Ahead Thanks to our resident photographers – Seb Ruiz in Sydney and Taras Naumenko in San
