Melbourne Cup Lunch

The equine flu and the rain couldn't damper the spirits of the Sydney Atlassianites as we headed across stormy seas for our annual Melbourne Cup Lunch. Everyone scrubbed up very well, there is after all, only one day a year when you have to wear a suit at Atlassian. Our CFO even managed to win the best hat competition. See more photos from the day.

BIT Sponsor Breakfast

Atlassian's Sydney office hosted a wonderful barbeque breakfast for UNSW (Univeristy of New South Wales) BIT (Business Information Technology) students. The breakfast provided the students with the opportunity to explore the industry and learn more about their career options. The BBQ breakfast was followed by a two hour presentation. The presentation covered Atlassian's history (Scott), open source in enterprises (Don Brown), a day in the life of a developer at Atlassian (Edwin -- 2005 UNSW BIT medalist),

5th Birthday

Atlassian has reached the grand old age of five years old! This was definitely an occasion to celebrate, and we did so in style at our San Francisco and Sydney offices. The San Fran staff piled into a stretched SUV to take a tour of Sonoma where we had a wonderful time playing bocce and frisbee golf. Most importantly, we improved our palates with delicious wine from the Landmark and Ravenswood wineries and great sandwiches from Follini & Eichenbaum. See more photos from the day. The

Summertime Groovilicious Day

For the event formerly known as Christmas, Atlassians in Sydney headed out West -- where we went whitewater rafting, burnt our feet on the bouncy boxing ring and sang our way back into town on the bus.
