Atlassian Eclipse Connector 1.0 released

This week we officially released the Atlassian Eclipse Connector 1.0 after wrapping up our 2-month beta. Thanks to a little help from Tasktop, makers of Eclipse Mylyn, we have created the Atlassian Eclipse Connector which builds upon the existing JIRA Mylyn Plugin to add integration with Bamboo, Crucible, and FishEye.

Matt Tucker over at Jive wrote a great post today about SaaS architecture, specifically whether single-tenancy was a viable enterprise SaaS architecture in the age of virtualization, automation, etc. For years, we've been told that single-tenancy, or the idea of one customer to one instance of the product (versus multi-tenancy, which puts many customers on walled-off sections of the same large instance, or often multiple large shared instances also sharing databases), was an impractical SaaS architecture

JIRA Studio upgraded with customisable tabs, JIRA 3.13

The October release of JIRA Studio has been rolled out to all customers, and includes a host of new features and application upgrades. First off, the projects toolbar in Studio has been overhauled in this release. We updated it with an eye towards simplification and hierarchy, but also incorporated some neat new features, like global history and customisable tabs. Customisable tabs mean you can add new application tabs, hide existing ones, or rearrange the order on a project by project basis. For

GreenHopper brings Agile to JIRA Studio

We're pleased to announce the immediate availability of the GreenHopper plugin for JIRA Studio. GreenHopper for Studio is an agile project management tool which adds a number of very useful features to JIRA, but what it really brings you is a way to visualize your coming releases, organize your tasks, and plan your development. We've been using Greenhopper for a few weeks now on the Studio team internally, and really don't know how we ever got along without it. GreenHopper replaces your card wall
